Partnering MESA mentors aid area middle school students (6 – 8 grades) in our partner school districts in math and science by:

  • Tutoring of kids who are struggling in math and science
  • Introducing gifted kids to advanced math and science concepts and topics
  • Working with English Language Learners to enhance their math and science understanding and achievement
  • Coaching kids for participation in math and science fairs and competitions
  • Introducing kids to new computer technology and applications
  • Mentoring kids towards careers in math, science and technology
