RM-MSMSP Partners Mathematics and Science Masters Degree Curriculum and Instruction

Involvement in the Rocky Mountain Middle School Partnership Grant this summer gives you the opportunity to apply courses to a Master’s degree at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center.

The Masters degree is NOT taken through RMMSMSP, but through the School of Ed.

Up to 20 credit hours from the Math/Science content and Structured Follow-Up courses will apply to the degree. Additional requirements include:

 

Mathematics Science
Critical Issues in Education (3 credit) 
Research Course-REM 5080 (3 credit)
Science
Critical Issues in Education (3 credit)
Research Course-REM 5080 (3 credit)

The number of credits you transfer from the grant will determine the number of additional
elective courses needed to complete the 35 hour MA degree.

In addition students will complete either a Master’s Degree Portfolio or a project based on course work and part of the research methods course.
