Content Courses
The RMMSMSP project offers science and math graduate-level content courses during summer (Summer Academy), fall, and spring semesters. Content courses focus on science or math content and connect the content to lessons in the middle levels (grades 4-9) classroom.

The summer academy content courses are part of a two-course sequence in which the first course is a science or math course offered in the summer. The second course is a structured follow-up course (described below) offered during the fall or spring semester following the summer. Participants are only allowed to take up to two summer academy content courses.

Content courses offered during the Fall and Spring semesters do not have associated structured follow-up courses.

See the upcoming content course schedule.

Structured Follow Up (SFU)
The SFU course is the second of a two-part sequence. A participant will first take a science or math content course in a specified area during the summer academy. After the content course has been successfully completed, a participant would complete the SFU during the following fall or spring semesters. The SFU focuses on implementation of science and math content and best pedagogical practices in the middle level (grades 4-9) classroom.
