CASMIC is designed to promote partnerships between the University of Colorado Denver, school districts, and other institutions of higher education. This organization was established in September 2006. The complex discussion, classroom innovations, and educator focus emerging from the Rocky Mountain Middle School Science and Mathematics Partnership provide a valuable model for other such initiatives within the CASMIC.
