Stipend Amounts
2009-2010 Program Year

Stipends will not be given to participants who do not register for credit when taking a content course regardless of attendance.

No sfu classes will occur after Spring 2009.

**Grant may change stipend amount and policy at any time without notification.

Stipend Policy

  • Stipends are available only to teachers working in one of the following districts: Adams 14, Brighton 27J, Elizabeth, Englewood, Gilpin, Jefferson County, Mapleton.
  • The stipend amounts will take effect for content courses only in Summer2009.
  • Stipend amounts are subject to change based on policy decisions of the Rocky Mountain Middle School Math and Science Leadership.
  • Stipends are sent to teachers only after successful completion of each class (usually 4-6 weeks after classes end).
  • Successful completion of classes includes attending all classes (one absence is allowed), completing all work.
  • Teachers pay their own tuition and should not wait to receive their stipend before paying their tuition. We expect you to pay tuition before June 14, the registration deadline.
  • Teachers from Adams 12, St. Vrain, Ft. Lupton, and Platte Canyon CDE districts receive a stipend of $1,500. The stipend will be paid after the successful completion of a summer academy course. If you take two courses you will receive two stipends. CDE participants will get $1000 for the academic year content courses. CDE stipends are not paid by the RM-MSMSP grant, instead they are paid by their district then reimbursed by the Northeast MSP II Grant. Please contact Gwen Stroup (303-982-1330) for more information
